Halloween at CSS

Each year our parish and Day School participate in the 69th Street Block Association Halloween Party. This year Halloween falls on Thursday, October 31st. There are lots of ways to get involved. SIGN-UP sheets are on the bulletin board in the Undercroft.

Pumpkin Decorating: Once again this year church school children will decorate pumpkins on the Sunday before Halloween.

October 31 – Thursday at 2:00 pm

Festive Decorating: We need volunteers to assist in decorating the areas around our new churchyard with a Halloween theme. Persons of all ages are warmly invited to help make the sidewalks festive for our goblin guests.

Candy Distribution: Want an excuse to wear your favorite costume? On Wednesday, October 31st (Halloween), West 69th Street is closed from Broadway to Central Park West, and hundreds of people come from all over the city to join the fun. We need volunteers to distribute candy from a table in front of  the church during the trick-or-treat time, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Work late? We also need help cleaning up afterwards.
